Bent Lamination for Table Skirts. Part 2

The first of the bent lams just came out of the vacuum bag. This first image is after the first pressing:


This image is after the second pressing:

You can see there's no spring-back, the lamination fits the form perfectly, and now it has pretty, cherry veneers on both faces.

After the other three lamination are pressed and cured, it will be time to trim and clean them up. After their edges are cleaned up and smoothed out, the bottom edge will get a veneer as well. Then they will be ready to mortise and assemble.
