More installation

Yesterday I finished installing the oven wall cabinets. These were the monster, 108" tall cabinets. I also got the island assembled, sans face frames.





I also cut out and stained the 'skins', which are the panels which will covered the exposed ends of the cabinets. The only exception being the tall panel for the side of the oven cabinet, which will have to be veneered later this week.

The plan now is to get all the skins made and stained, veneer the knee wall in rosewood and finish it. Then switch to making drawer boxes. Once the knee wall is installed counters can be cut and installed. The sink is ready to be installed, and the oven, microwave and refrigerator can all be installed anytime (though I'm sure we'll wait until we're ready for all the appliances.) The cooktop can't go in until the counters are installed.
